As I’m sure you’ve heard, Chicago has been denied by the IOC in their Obama and Winfrey-assisted attempt at gaining the 2016 Summer Olympics.

    I’d like to nominate Oprah and President Obama failing to deliver the 2016 Olympics… so, what the fuck good are those two douchenozzles then if they can’t do this one thing for the city of Chicago? Oh, wait, or like Rowdy Gaines, are we just blaming this all on George W. Bush?

    Anyway, Donovan Bailey vs Michael Johnson, 150 Meters around a half turn to decide the World’s Fastest Man… as Johnson pulls up lame with a “Hamstring injury”.

    I was going to say Evel Knievel trying to “jump” the Snake River in that ridiculous “rocket” of his, but the Bailey/Johnson duel is a great shout too. Also, “Dan and Dave” was a pretty ridiculous failure.

    2Y beat me to Dan & Dave, that has to be the biggest one of my lifetime. Others… World Baseball Classic, Every X-Games since the first one, Most BCS Title Games, a lot of Super Bowls, every Super Bowl halftime show not involving U2 and happening right after major American tragedies.

      Eh… at least he finally sealed the deal… and may be one of the nicest athletes in the historyz of the worldz

        Yes he sealed it. But it sticks out because of the whole story behind his first failure. And it makes it that much better that he finally won it.
