What We Learned Last Night
- The return of Herr Steinbrenner could not stop the almighty Chutely from making First D happy ruining the return of the World Series to the Bronx.
- Jay-Z and Alicia Keys to preform “Empire State of Mind” before tonight’s game. They also would have looked better against Cliff Lee’s curveball than the Yankees did.
- Rangers, in true blue fashion, gift wrap the Islanders first regulation win of the season.
- Other ice results include Dallas nipping the Leafs in OT; Sharks dropping the Kings in a shoot out. Prop bet – Larger crowd Sharks/Kings or USA vs. Jamaica in the junior goodwill games?
- QB changes in the NFL: Freeman to start for Bucs, Fisher to announce plans today, Delhomme to start for Carolina again, and so is Jamarcus Russell. Get your bets against the Raiders in early before the line moves more.
