Eye Opener – November 7, 2009

What you missed last night while getting banninated from playing footy.

Hello, folks.  Weekend Daddy here to make your day sunny and bright.  And to let you in on a reason why I’ll be scarce today until about Last Call time.  Today is my 29th birthday.  So, let’s get to the news.

• Bob Sanders is on the PUP list for this year.  Due to a bicep tear, he must recieve season ending surgery.
• Brewers trade J.J. Hardy to the Twins for Carlos Gomez.
• Jermaine Dye is no longer a White Sox.
• Jeff Gordon gets the Pole at Texas.  NASCAR fans, release jokes at will.
• Manny will still be Manny in LA.  He took the 20 million dollar option.
• Ty Law is now a Bronco.  Right…
• Draft Watch: Dez Bryant from Oklahoma State will enter 2010 Draft.  No word if Deion will be his agent.
• BCS Watch: USA Today Coaches Poll will remain an open ballot.
• Finally, say a few words for the band members at Grambling State University.  A bus crash injured some of the members of the world famous marching band. Good news, though.  Injuries were not serious.

Okay, folks.  This is going to be a JB birthday party all day.
