With Monchichi focusing on MMA this weekend, I thought I’d give y’all some light reading for the weekend – some quick hits, sarcasm, and stuff you can read between vomiting from last night.
- I think The Phoenix Pub owes the Yankees a big apology for our coverage of them winning the World Series. They are the greatest $290 million dollar baseball team that I’ve ever had the privledge of watching with my own eyes.
- Bob Sanders is the best defensive back in the league that never actually plays during games.
- If the Knicks wanted to show Lebron that more people care about Yankees sitting in the crowd than the product being put out on the court, you have to think that their display was a rousing success.
- Joey Porter saying Tom Brady gets his own rules while playing. Is this like the Joey Porter rule where he gets to say whatever the hell he wants and not be held accountable for it?
- If Aston Villa beats you 5-1, and that’s while missing a penalty kick, maybe it’s time to start thinking about Coca-Cola Championship next season.
- Looking forward to LSU beating Bama today, Bama beating Florida in the SEC title game, and SEC apologists arguing that the National Title Game should be Bama/Florida.
