    Watching Danica at the ARCA race. She is, probably, the best driver in the field.

    Says more about the talent in ARCA, really.

    The East Coasters definitely have my sympathy. My mom said she’s shoveling every hour. I hate shoveling more than almost anything in the whole world. The snow is taller than my mom’s basset hound. He’s probably not a happy guy right now.

      Nope. They lost.
      And we got about 18 or so here – I feel gypped, since the weatherguessers were saying we could have up to 30″. On the bright side, they did actually plow the streets this time, so that’s a plus.

        Plowed streets are always a plus. They got to ours this afternoon. I have no idea how we’re going to get to the SB party tomorrow, though. And apparently we’re having more on Wednesday.

    @Two Yellows: Nice patio set. In all honesty, I feel that that picture showed the snow the best, since you could see what a fuck-ton you folks got. I just finished up another block at teacher’s college, so I’m back on the farm for the next 7 weeks (with the resultant lessening of time on the internet and visiting last call). It’s more frozen brown than white on the ground here.

        BTW, what I’ve read on avoindingthedrop has done a much better job of clarifying the issue than the only other soccer site I read (BBC). I think it was off your site that I linked to the Guardian article that was asking why it was the Italian’s job to decide the fate of the English captain (after the job had been passed on to him by the FA)… neglecting to really note that the Italian’s job is to be in-charge of the English team – and do stuff like that.

          I should say, that despite my disagreement, I thought that the article was well written.

          OK folks, I think I’m going to head over to a house without any of the inter-tubes. Probably swing by to toss my 2 cents in sometime tomorrow. No idea who will win the game tomorrow either – I reckon it will be the Colts. I just checked the over and at 4.5 I’d probably take the Colts on that too. Too much on offense is my unstudied opinion – although I don’t know how much of that Saints secondary has come back to health.

          Well, it came out the other day that he’s essentially “selling” access to his box at Wembley (that he gets for free). He fucked a teammate’s girlfriend. He’s apparently got a major gambling problem. He’s gotten four separate mortgages on his extremely expensive West London compound in the last few years.

          I’d say it’s getting close to Behind the Music time for JT.

            ah, since I saw this I’ll respond.

            Didn’t he get in some sort of a fracas a couple of years before Chesea was bought by uncle pennybags in a bar in London? Not sure how common that is (I’m sure that the players are heckled pretty often and people bug them a ton when they go out), but that was the first warning sign. I had no idea about all the other stuff. Talking to one of my friends a couple of years ago (who will check up bbc sport a couple times a week to stay in touch with the goings on) we both agreed that Terry seemed to be a pretty sketchy fella – as in he doesn’t seem like someone who you would want to spend much time around.

            Then again, who on England would be interesting enough /fun enough to hang with? Teddy Shearingham? My guess is only because he pulls much younger ladies – so he must be have charisma or something like that (or it may just be the giant sized wallet that all of them have).

              I’ll add that I really haven’t followed Premiership as closely over the last few years, so I’m not up on all the back page gossip about the squad. I just catch snippets about the players and they all seem to be the same in that all their away from the pitch photos are them entering or exiting a club or after having done something stupid – like Cole getting caught for going 100 mph.

    Who or which site is hosting a live blog tomorrow. I will now be home for sure for the game, and will need to release my dick jokes somewhere where people can either fake laugh at them or not laugh at them at all.
