It’s almost the weekend!

So:  Oswalt is a Phillie, the O’s hired Showalter, and Churchill’s dentures sold for about $24,000 (and it wasn’t even a complete set). In other news of the weird: Thailand.  No way I’m going there – I don’t trust that this guy will try to slip in the real McCoy. And just forget Japan entirely (potentially NSFW). Those folks are weird by even *my* standards.

Okay, kick back, toss the shoes in the heap, and relax. It’s Last Call.

    Holy fuck. I just checked out drunkjaysfans and I see the Jays traded Wallace (as part of the Phillies trade, somehow).

    Cheers to AA for getting Gose, since Wallace doesn’t seem that good (despite being part of the Halladay trade as the Jays got him from Oakland for Michael Taylor).

    Now to get rid of Vernon Wells.

      (it’s as part of the Oswalt thing, Phillies traded him to HOU to be shipped to TOR for Wallace… who is the 3rd of three pretty good hitters playing the same position that the Jays are supposed to have). My astonishment was in the Phillies trading (why’d they trade Lee away again?) and the Jays being involved again somehwo.

    Amazing how much ESPN is getting hammered out here on the local radio for the article on LeYankee Fan. Lying jackass, moronic douchebag, just a couple of the comments from local radio/journalist guys about Rob King of ESPN and his “Oh, the writer specificly invited to go along and write about the event by Lebron’s posse
    didn’t present himself as a writer who might actually write bad things about James.” piece of crap resoning why the article was taken down. Just rename it “The Lebron and Favre Network” and be done with it.

    Half-price cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory tomorrow. Kinda makes me wish I’d delayed my trip for a day since it’s a hell of a lot easier for me to get to said Factory here in Chicago than in MD/DE. Then again, I hate lines.
